A few weeks ago, a student of ours told me about his new program. It occurred to me that a basic recapture exercise might be enormously beneficial to his clients, so I offered to do five sessions for free so he could watch and decide whether or not he wanted to add it to the program.
What happened:
Average time it took then to complete: 40 minutes or less
Average recapture: $47,275
Average equivalent in sales: $123,449
Of course, we had to remind them:
“If you would pay $X or spend Y time for $123,344 in new new sales, you should be thrilled to pay X or spend Y time to get the equivalent profits without having to make extra sales or take on any extra work”
That part always takes a few minutes to sink in.
The basic recapture is all about the “easy money”. It’s “easy” because it’s not new, it just recaptured waste. The real magic is when you take the time to reallocate it strategically to achieve “certainty” and “collapse time”. First, a refresher and some “over-the-shoulder” case studies:

While the basic recapture is similar for everyone, the advanced recapture depends heavily on personal preferences, priorities and situation. A chiropractor with three kids in Montana will have different options available than a single consultant in Ontario.
More advanced does not mean always more complicated, it often means more personalized to the individual.
