Future Guardian! We’re taking a short break from our regularly scheduled programming for a bonus post to get you caught up/oriented on what’s going on in our world and why it matters to you.

New Layout & Sections
For the maniacs that navigate directly to the TGA homepage frequency, you’ll see the layout has changed to accommodate our new sections.
Across the top banner, you’ll see Marketing & Advertising1 and Health & Fitness2. these sections contain strategies, tactics and tools that have been derived from TGA principles from our partners and Guardians applied to their domains.
In order to contribute to either section, contributors need to demonstrate a track record of competence.
**IMPORTANT** you will have to subscribe to each one separately if you want to get them delivered to your inbox or to be notified. This is so that your inbox is not cluttered with emails that are not relevant to you.

Monday Workshop
Monday, March 11th we will be hosting what can only be called:
“The Most Important Workshop You’ll Ever Attend”
Sounds hyperbolic, and maybe it is. But we just taught this at the Guardian Event last weekend and THEN again at a partners event. Afterwards, we realized that this is the single most important skill to any person to learn, regardless of their current situation.
A force multiplier.
Here are some of the details:

Monday, March 11th, 4PM Pacific
Where:
The first part of the workshop will be streamed directly into the (Un)Official Facebook group5 for everyone to watch. The workshop, QnA and active “engaging the field” will be in zoom immediately afterwards. The workshop will be available to Guardians, Founding Members and Basic Subscribers.**
**The link will be sent out Monday morning. Please mark your calendars and do not email in asking about links to join between now and then.
For basic subscribers that have not attended a live workshop with us, this will give you glimpse of what it’s like to step into the Arena.
The Arena
Our definition of intelligence: the ability to get what you want.
Increasing intelligence means learning.
Our definition of learning is “same circumstance, different behavior”. If your behavior does not change, neither has your ability to get what you want.
So, it stands to reason (in our minds, anyway) that the only way to learn is to actively apply what you want to learn - to step out of the classroom and into The Arena.
When Guardians come onto the Guardian weekly calls or events, they’re stepping into the Arena. When they leave the call and implement something new, they’re engaging the field.
The Open Loop and 6WU6 framework is a structure for engaging the field.
We have a couple killer articles coming out about engaging the field and stepping into the Arena, so we will keep it light for now.
Here are the takeaways:
Engage the field.
If you hear or see something new, interested or different that might be useful to you - test it. Monday’s workshops will give you a framework to do this rapidly and consistently.
Becoming > Knowing About
When you read, watch, listen to or study new material you might walk away “knowing about more stuff”. Knowing about more stuff does not increase your ability to get what you want, therefore it does not make you more intelligent (as per our working definition of intelligence).
Becoming it by doing it > knowing about it.
We’re working on a new structure to help Guardians, Founding Members and Basic subscribers “Step Into The Arena” and implement, reinvent and improve rapidly. If you’re willing to do the work, make the mistakes, iterate, improve and repeat we will show up for you.
